Judge J. B. (Blin) Coleman, who
has been confined to his home

restful day and night the past
24 hours, his family reports, and

ber of a division now serving in

ing hi furlough, Pvt. Meier will
return to Barnes General hos
pital In Vancouver for medical

theater where he served with
two famed marine battalions on
Guadalcanal, receiving the Pres
idential citation. Cpl. Wright
was accompanied to Medford by
his bride, the former Dea Jean
Hardy of Klamath Falls, the
couple having been married
Dec. 24 in Sacramento, Calif.
The newlyweds were guests at
the Jackson Hotel for four days.

day leave with his parents, Mr,
and Mrs. Charles E. Rose, route
4, box 148. Lt. Rose returned to
this country last fall after
spending a year In England,
where he was assigned to the
44th bombardment group, and In
Ireland and Scotland. He Is now
taking a refresher course at Vic-

station hospital since last May,
has been transferred to Portland
