Watzling, a resident here for
19 years, died of a bullet wound
in the chest, inflicted by Eugene
E. Adams, 40, who killed him
self Sunday night after slaying

Police said that Adams fired
into a room in the home of Mrs.
Dahrenn's father, Ira L. Pat
ridge, as she watched Watzling
and Patridge playing cards. Po
lice reports attributed the triple
slaying to jealousy in that
Adams and Mrs. Dahrenn had
been seen together several times
since she arrived from Roseburg
to visit her parents.
Watzling leaves his widow;
two sons, a brother and two
sisters, Gertrude Watzling of
Medford and Mrs. Geraldine
Porter of Seattle.
