Stewart, recruiting specialist, USNR, re ported to the Medford navy re cruiting last Saturday to assist the local office in the procure ment of radar men, Seabees and combat aircrewmen. Chief Stewart will reside at 1310 West Main street. Mrs. Stewart and two daughters will arrive in the mmediate future. Chief Stewart was formerly attached to the re cruiting station at Los Angeles. Myers, coun ty assessor, will leave tonight for Salem to appear before the state tax commission. Mr. Myers will appear at a hearing on the appeal of the International Busi ness Machines corporation from the assessment set on their prop erty by Mr. Myers.
