From England there is news of Flight Officer Douglas Eden, u-i'f Dombardier, who has been awarded an air medal, and also of Lt. John M. Saulsberry and Lt. David S. Williams, who have completed their orientation course at an army base. First Lieut. Robert L. Von der Hellen has been awarded a second oak leaf cluster to the air medal at an 8th AAF bomber station. Sgt. K. N. Windshelffel is with a Mustang fighter group now based in France and Sgt. Henry C. Betz is an automotive mechanic with an 8th AAF Lib erator group based in England. Sgt. Mark Hoefft this month completes his 30th month of service at an air service depot in England. The sergeant was with the first American army air force unit to arrive in England. At another bomber station Staff Sgt. Thomas A. Robinson was recently awarded the second oak leaf cluster to the air medal. Col. Bill Yhorndike. wounded In .
