The Mask has his Identity at take tonight when he meets Jack Kizcr, Pacific coast light heavyweight champ in the main event in the ring at the Med ford armory. Mack Llllard, pro moter, said that the mystery man has promised to remove his hood when he is beaten t legi timate wrestling. And If he loses to Kizer oil comes inc hood. If he wins, it will be his fourth consecutive victory in the Medford grappling circle, Kizer, who Is tops at wrestling on the coast, will give ine nooa ed one a run for his money. And Kizer probably will use all efforts to keep away from the Mask's steel noggin. In each meeting here thus far the Mask's opponent has gone down for the count after a bounce off the Mask's head. The Pointer team, under Coach Harold Boner, will be picked from the following men: Tom Collcy, Shrlcr, Sage, Childress, Robinson, West, Anhorn, Gorden, Saxbury Holland, McCoy, Hans cam, Wilson, and Hamilton. This will be the first six-man football played at Central Point. ORIOLES WIN 5-3 TO TAKE TITLE IN Baltimore, Oct. 12 U.R) The Baltimore Orioles of the Inter national League held the 1944 Little World Series title today, defeating the American Associa tion playoff winners, the Louis ville Colonels, four games to two In the annual minor league classic. Winners of the International League pennant during the reg ular season and also of the post season playoffs, the Orioles de feated the Colonels fi-3 in the sixth game of the best-of-seven series here last night before 23, 836 fans. The birds came from behind with three runs in the seventh Inning, paced by singles from the bats of Bob Latshaw, Frank Skaff and Sherman Lollar and two Louisville errors for their margin of victory. The Colonels had taken the lead in the second Inning when they tagged Baltimore starter Stan West for two runs. Both clubs used three pitchers with Ambrose (Bobo) Pallca get ting credit for the victory and Otis Clark suffering the loss. West, Sam Lowry and Pallca collaborated on a seven hit hurl ing Job while their mates tagged starter Mel Deutsch and his suc cessors for 10 safe blows.
