Edward A. Rumely, executive
secretary of Frank E. Gannett's
committee for constitutional gov
ernment, today was indicted by
a federal grand jury for refus
ing to turn over records of con
tributors of $100 or more to the
house campaign expenditures
committee.
The records had been sub
penaed and the house committee
held that Rumely's refusal was
"willful and deliberate" defiance
of federal laws giving congress
the power of subpena.

Richard Clarence Hlner, 17,

driver of the other automobile
involved in the accident, appear
ed in justice court today where

for failure to operate his auto
on the right side of the road. He
was picked up Saturday evening
by state police after the Hiner
and Beck cars collided on a
curve, about 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
