He was a life-long resident of south ern Oregon coming here six months after he was born In Pullman, Wash., October 6, 1895. He married Jesse Edson, Sep tember S, 1917, at Stockton, Calif. Surviving are six of seven children: Jesse Raymond of Santa Rosa, Calif.; LeRoy M., i naval reserve in Spokane, Wash., Daniel R., Medford, Robert Paul, Placervllle, Calif., Mrs. Catha Iine Helm, Portland, and Mrs. Nadine Lot, Medford; his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Walters j of Medford. Also surviving are two broth ers, Clyde D. Walters of Med ford, Marion M. Walters, Dead Indian; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Williams and Mrs. Marie Curley, Medford, and six grandchildren.
