RENO. SAY The disappearance of Kath ryn Faye Miller, reported miss ing from her home in Ashland since last Saturday night, was solved Friday by a statement made and signed by Paul Nich ols and Allan King, both of Ashland, according to Ashland City Police. Fear of foul play, expressed by her husband when he discovered her absence, was unfounded according to the statement, which follows: We, Paul Nichols and Allan King, both of Ashland, Oregon, depose and say that the follow ing statement is made freely and voluntarily, and is true and correct. Last Saturday night, or early Sunday morning, Sept. 2 or 3, while in the Dandy Lunch on East Main street, King intro duced a lady to Nichols whose name is Mrs. Frank Miller of Pioneer street. After the intro duction, King said he would take the lady to Nichols' house at Pioneer and B streets. Then King and Mrs. Miller left the room. Nichols remained in the lunch room for some time, then went home and found King and Mrs. Miller in his house. The three of them remained there all night. Sunday morning about 10 o'clock King took Nichols and Mrs. Miller to the old Klamath Junction, about seven miles south of Ashland on Highway 66, where he left them. King then came back to Ashland, driving Nichols' Pontiac coupe, and kept possession of the car until police took it away from him Tuesday night. Nichols and Mrs. Miller then hitch-hiked to Reno, where she said she wanted to go to secure a divorce from her husband. Shortly after arriving in Reno, Nichols said Mrs. Miller met an other man, and said she was go ing with him, whereupon Nich ols returned to Ashland arriv ing here Friday night. Ashland police state that they have definite Information that Mrs. Miller is in Reno. She is the mother of two children, aged 2 and 4. INSTITUTE WILL BE HELD FRIDAY Mrs. K. W.
