The rate of payment for these two months will be .00 per pound buitcrfnt and .45 per hundred weight whole milk. The dead line on payment for May and June is August 31, and pay ments for those two months can only be made where the appli cant has a legitimate excuse for the delay. Subsidy payment for the months of Atifissst and Septem ber will be paid beginning No vember 1. There will be sharp taeroajie in rate of payment, ,10 per pound for butterXat and .75 per hundred for whole milk, Ladino Cloyer Harvesting and threshing of the 1044 crop of Ladino clover is now going on. Field Inspec tions have been completed for the year and results show a greatly Increase acreage of this clover, almost four times as much as that of 1943. Seven teen hundred thirty acres passed inspection for certifica tion, 544 acres were rejected for certification but will be thresh ed for seed, 237 acres were cer tified as War Approved, which is a new classification for this year and is composed of a mix ture, the greater part of which is Ladino. Thus about 2533 acres were inspected in the cotmty, which equals the total number of acres of Ladino passed last year In the entire state.
