All residents are urged to attend. Fined $10 Cecil Ray Mal lary, 39, charged with drunk and disorderly conduct, was fined $10 in city police court this morning. Robert James Burns, 51, charged with being drunk, was sentenced to serve i five days in jail. Grant, athletic coach and instructor in the Medford school system the past school year, left here this morning for Bellingham, Wash., to accept a position as assistant Boy Scout executive in that area. He will return here for his family in about three weeks. E. H. Hedrick, city school su perintendent, expressed his re gret at losing Grant, who was to have coached, tatight physi cal education and classroom studies at junior high next year. Grant coached last year's jun ior high school football team through an undefeated season. In mid-year he was transferred to senior high school to coach basketball and track after Head Coach Lome S. Arnold resigned in the middle of the grid season. Hedrick said that Norman Sting, junior high basketball and springs sports mentor last season, would head the ' Junior high physical education depart ment and coaching staff the coming year. He will be assist ed, Hedrick said, by Ray Hen derson, who will return to jun ior high after a year and a half leave of absence in Washington, D. C.
