THE CITY OF MEDFORD DOTH ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That a special City election hereby is called to be held on the 14th day of July, 1944. That at said special elec tion there be submitted to the legal voters of the City of Med ford for their approval or rejec tion the proposition ordained by the council by Ordinance No. 3781, to-wit: "That the City of Medford shall for each of the tax years commencing July 1, 1044, and July 1, 1945, levy taxes in the amount of $31,250.00 in accordance with Chapter 140 of the General Laws of Ore gon, 1939, for the purpose of providing in advance funds for the construction of a municipal swimming pool with its facili ties and appurtenances at an estimated total cost of $62, 500.00 and such taxes shall be outside the limitation on tax ation imposed by Article XI, Section 11 of the constitution of Oregon." Section 2. Said election shall be held on the 14th day of July, 1944, between the hours of 1:00 o'clock P. M. and 8:00 o'clock P.
