THE GRANGE Phoenix Grange Mrs. Prentice's Accordion band ' entertained Phoenix Grange with a concert in June 13. Elva Caster gave a reading In honor of Father's Day. Our overseer, Ceres and chap Iain resigned as It was lmposs ibe to attend grange due to the gas shortage. Officers elected to these offices were overseer, Al fred Schroeder; Ceres, Florence Tripp, and chaplain, Enid Cas ter. They were installed by Ray Ward. H. E. club entertained Grange families June 21 with a covered dish dinner marking Father's Day. Each man received a bou tonnlere as well as a gift from his wife's Pollyanna. Tripp's Tramps furnished music for dancing. Grangers are reminded that Brother and Sister Maust have invited Grangers and their fam ilies to a picnic on the Fourth of July, on the lawn of the County Farm. We hope to see all the Grangers on the Fourth, come prepared to have a good time and don't forget to bring that heaped up picnic basket. Charles Rhodes, was not as re ported, missing in action. The lieutenant's wife, of Hollywood, Cel., received word last week that her husband was missing.
