Phoenix, 'Ariz., June 24 (U.R)
A low flying training plane

windshield with its left wingtip
and decapitated the driver, Earl
William Nepple, 57, Los An
geles hotel and enfe operator, on
U. S. highway 89 near Wicken
burg, the state highway patrol
reported today. '
The car and plane collided
headon at 8:20 o'clock last night,
the patrol office said.
The plane remained In the air
and landed at its base field.

Calif., has resigned his position
as regional executive of the USO

Gutterson, who resigned to
practice architecture, will be
