I tried soap making you suggested in a recent column and this Is what I have to show for my "half hour of pleasant work : one chair minus paint; one linoleum rug minus linoleum; one pair of legs minus hide, and thirty bars of soap that won't wash anything. "My husband nas always been pretty patient with me; pro bably because of things like the time ha spent $18 on a punch board and came home with only one box of candy. But I don't know what he's going to say to all this. He won't know it was all your fault for I won't tell him I got the Idea from reading your column; he thinks I waste too much time reading lt as It Is. out decided to let the I ry vines grow along 01.. .nce, since in one of your columns you thought results were unsatisfactory when you cut yours. One night she in vited me to her apartment; said I could help her and her girl friend put a jig saw puzzle to gether. She was just leaving at the time. "Well I dropped my cup, fell off the stool, grabbed my hat, slipped twice getting under way and had the door open for her before she'd finished. Could this be love, Olive Barber?"
