Change Place Meeting place of the Oakgrove Neighborhood club has been changed from the home of Mrs. Frances Flinn to that of Mrs. George West on the Jacksonville highway. The club meets tomorrow at 1:30 p. m. for dessert luncheon, i Veterans to Meet The Dls abled American Veterans will meet tonight at the armory at eight o clock in regular session, Officers state that all members should be present to start the winter program. ' Graduate Four names have been added to the list published Sunday of those graduating from the Aircraft Recognition school conducted at the senior high school the past eight weeks. Jer ome' Boshears, first pilot on a B-17 Flying Fortress, Is spend ing a leave here visiting his wife and young daughter, Jo Carolyn; his mother, Mrs. Charity E. Boshears of 404 South Grape street, and other relatives. Lt. -i Boshears' wife and daughter .Yinke their home with her moth- f er, Mrs. A.-M. Wall of 628 Mc- Andrews road. Lt. Boshears, who has been stationed in California In recent months, has been trans ferred to Salt Lake City and will leave for there the latter part of the week. Tucker Returns Ensign George Tucker returned to Med- he spent the past several days transacting business. Ensign Tucker, who Is a senior assistant purser in the maritime service, Is home on an extended leave be fore being assigned to a new chip. Ensign Tucker has been in the service about a year and much of that time his ship was In the Mediterranean. Before go- lng Into the maritime service the ensign was on the Medford staff of the California Oregon Power company. He is spending his leave with Mrs. Tucker at their home, 17 Kenwood Ave. Ashlanders Injured Glenn Davis, 18, of Ashland was to be released from Community hos pital today following treatment of cuts and bruises he suffered when the car he was driving struck a tree in the 900 block on North Central avenue late last night, hospital attendants said. Three other persons were slight ly injured in the crash, which occurred, according to city police, when the driver swerved his machine to avoid striking two boys oa a bicycle. The meeting will open with dinner at the Plaza cafe In Ashland at 7 p. m with Dr. Gor don McCracken of Ashland as host. The paper will be given by Dr. R. E. Green of Medford. On Furlough Pvt. H. Jule Harper, stationed at Camp Rob erts, Calif., with a field artillery unit, is spending a 10-day fur lough here visiting his wife at the Richard Fanger home on South Holly street, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Harper of South Columbus avenue and his brother. Jack Harper of Cherry Lane. - . Clements Here Walter Clem ents Is in Medford to visit his mother, Mrs. W. C. Clements of Katherlne Court, Clements, who has been a mechanic with Pan American Airways at Seattle for the past several months, has been promoted to maintenance inspector and upon leaving Med ford will go to Fairbanks, Alaska, He will leave later this week. Clements Is a graduate of St. Mary's Academy here and was at one time a carrier for the Mail Tribune. Wed nesday in the armory to com plete plans for observance of Armistice Day, Nov. 11. At a recent noon meeting at Valentine's, plans were discussed and the following committee heads were appointed by Cole Holmes, general chairman: Walter Relnking, Legion breakfast; Col. Paine, parade; Al bert Flora, noon lunch; Cole Holmes, football; Roy Finch, dance; Elbert Lenox, finance, and J. E. Russell, advertising and publicity. Commander Relnking will be In charge of the annual Legion breakfast to be held at Valen tine's. State Commander Dan McDade has been invited and will give a short talk. Col. Paine has rounded out a parade representing civic, patri otic and service organizations. It Is not known at this time just what part Camp White will take, but undoubtedly will send a large contingent of soldiers, WACs and a band. A get-together noon lunch will be served in the basement din ing room at the Elks Temple un der leadership of Albert Flora. In the afternoon at the high school stadium, Medford and Ashland football teams will clash In what is expected to be one of the best games In years. Topping off the evening will be the big dance at the Oriental Gardens with Ray Schumacher's 10-plece orchestra and floor show features added. All members are urged by Commander Felnking to attend Wednesday's meeting to further the plans. All visiting Legion naires and servicemen are wel come. Luncheon will be served zy the Auxiliary after the meet ing. Dr. Blaine Prultt of Grants Pass was elected president of the Southern Oregon Osteo pathic society at a meeting of the: group held last night at Dr. Prultt's home. Dr. W. W. Howard of Medford was elected vice-president and 'Dr. Gladys Crandall of Ashland was named secretary. A round-table discussion of po liomyelitis featured last night's meeting which closed with the serving of refreshments by Dr. and Mrs. Pruitt.
