Following Monday it will be necessary for consumers to receive a certificate through the rationing board authorizing the purchase of the footwear. The type to be rationed In clude: below knee height heavy boots, pacs and bootees, below knee height light boots, above knee height storm king boots, pacs, booties and work shoes less than 10 inches high and hip height boots. Nine head of beef and two head of : sheep more were sold this year than last, while the same num- ber of hogs were sold each year. I Six capons were sold this year I while none were sold last year. I The beef brought an average price of 17c per pound and a ' total of 25,891 pounds were sold, sheep averaged 26.9c per pound and a total of 9S5 pounds iold, hogs averaged 16Mtc per round and a total of 3,465 lounds were sold, and capons veraged $1.13 per pound and a otal of 51 pounds sold. The otal of all sold in pounds was 0,362 and total money received vas $5,287.55. All animals iveraged heavier in weight over last year. This is in line with the government policy of feed ing for a longer period and sell ing the animals much heavier than in the past.
