L ACT EXPLAINED BY OPA LAWYER Business Men Given Infor mation on Regulation and Enforcement of Measure The purpose, regulations and enforcement, of the Price Con trol Act of 1942 were explained last evening at the Episcopal Guild hall to a group of Medford business men by L. L. Ray, at torney for the Eugene district of the Office of Price Adminis tration, Ray was Introduced by Frank Hull, secretary of the chamber of commerce and at the close of his discussion an swered questions pertinent to the subject. Ray explained that the Eu gene office services southern Oregon until further price of fices are established. He nlso stated that application for loss adjustment can be made through the regional adminis trator. Hull announced at the open ing of the meeting that plans will be made to hold a price clinic in this city in the near fu ture with OPM and OPA offi cials present. (Pi Chairman Claude I. Sersanous of the State Salvage committee estimated yesterday that 10,225 tons of rubber was collected ir the Oregon scrap campaign. Soldier On Leave Likes Milk Best Portland, Aug. 12. (VP) What's soldier on leave want most? A glass of milk, said Fred Roberts of the Service Men's center. The AFL. Teamsters' union, which had asked the question after voting $100 for the USO. took him at his word and told a dairy to leave 500 half-pints of milk at the center daily for a week.
