In City Court Emery Troy Garrison charged with being drunk in a public street, was sentenced in city police court today to five days in the city jail. Robert D. Johnson and David Shields, both charged with failure to stop at a stop street, paid $5 fines in city po lice court. Fire Controlled A 10-acre fire on the Dead Indian road at Big Draw creek was being brought under control today, it was announced by headquarters of the Rogue River National For est. The blaze, described as man-caused, burned over a heavy brush and snag area, and was rather difficult to suppress. A logging crew in the vicinity helrjed fieht the fire last nieht. the forest service said. a Hits Horse Herbert Hadley of Route 1, Box 70, Centrnl Point reported to city police yes terday that his car was badly .damaged Wednesday about 10:45 p. m. when a horse ran into the vehicle. The accident occurred about 12 miles south of Ruch on highway 238, when the horse jumped in front of Hadley's car. Hadley said he had no time to apply the brake the animal appeared so sud denly.
