Robert Jerry Parrlsh, who 1 an Instructor trainee in the army air corps at Mather Field Cal., haa been visiting hi par ent, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Parrlsh of route 4, enroute to Sacramento where he will re side. Parrlsh graduated from ad vanced training July 21 at Spo kane, Wash., and after receiving his commercial license and in structor's rating and taking a flight test for the army air corps instructor board was appointed to Mather Field. lie will be eligible for a com mission as second lieutenant after training at Mather Field fo.' three to six months. Parrlsh received his primary flying training and private license at North Bend and was appointed for advanced training at Calkins Aircraft company in Spokane, Wash. His advanced training included acrobatic flying, 40 hours of cross-country work and 30 hours of instructor finisher. He was accompanied to Medford by Mrs. Parrish. Traveling with the Parrlshs was William G. Harding of Butte, Mont., who was also ap pointed as instructor trainee at Mather Fielud. JUDGE TRENCHARD Trenton, N. J., July 23 (JP) Thomas W. Trenchard, 78, who capped a long career on the New Jersey supreme court by presiding over the trial of Bruno Richard Hauptmann and sentencing the carpenter to death for the Lindbergh baby murder, died today.
