Harley Stewart, charged with being drunk on a public street, received a 10 days sus pended jail sentence pending good behavior. Makes Home Here Dr. Jouett P. Bray and family returned to Medford recently and are mak ing their home on Lozier lane. Dr. Bray retired from the Meth odist ministry the last of June. BUT NEIGHBORS STILL WITHER $250,000 Found in Home of Supposedly Moderately Fixed Missouri Doctor. Hornersville, Mo. (UP) Dr. Floyd Kinsolving, aged Missouri Jack-of-all-trades and eccentric, is dead, but his very eccentricism has kept his neighbors in a dither and his estate isn't any nearer settlement than it was when he died May 5. Called wealthy by the towns folk. Dr. Kinsolving, who prac ticed law, medicine, surveying, hcrpetology, teaching, and farm ing among other things, bor rowed money to plant his cotton crop last year. When he died there was little evidence of wealth around his rambling 18-room farm home. But a country banker reported the deceased farmer had pur chased $50,00C worth of war bonds in January and they were no where to be found. May Wreck Home That started a search for his fortune. Before It ended nearly $250,000 in cash and negotiable papers had been discovered and even now many neighbors maintain that not all the cash or paper has been found. They believe there is more in the old home, among the litter of old cars, trailers, farm machinery an'" bottles which the late doctor saved. Searchers discovered cash in odd comers of the home. The largest cache of more than $60. 000 was in a tin box hidden away in a niche cut in concrete und.T the back porch. A large can on a basement shelf con tained $1,700 in silver. In an other can was $2,000 in $100 bills. Several hundred dollars were found between pages of books. Trustees of his estate may order the home wrecked to be certain other valuables aren't overlooked. Kept Autos During his life Dr. Kinsolving gave his neighbors plenty to think about. They laughed when he brought in 3,000 geese to cut down the Johnson grass between his rows of cotton. It worked, and many Missouri bootheel farmers now have their own flocks of geese. Every automobile the doctor owned was on his farm when he died. The first was a 1911 model. There were 30 good tires In the basement of his house. Two new Persian rugs were among his household effects. Twenty-four gold watches, all purchased at once, were found. None of them had been wound since they left the Jewelers. He spent 13 years building his own steel and black walnut bouse trailer. Then he bought a new ready made one. Neither was ever used. Left Children SI Hornersville doesn't believe the last has been heard of Dr. Kinsolving. Although there have been rumors that he left three wills, only one has been found. That leaves his fortune to be divided equally between the Uni versity of Missouri and the University of Louisville after his two children receive $1 each and their father's "love and af fection." The children, Mrs. R. R. Can non and Floyd Kinsolving, Jr., were estranged from their father in 1903 when their parents were divorced.
