President Kenneth G. Denman urges all members of the club and all Interested In conserva tion to be present at this meet ing. Most Important Item to be taken vo will be proposed plan whereby the sportsmen of the valley would cooperate with the Rogue River National forest In the program being planned for fire protection and fire fight ing the coming season. It has been pointed out by officials of the Rogue River National for est that sportsmen of this local ity can make a very material and substantial contribution to ward fire protection and fire fighting. An official from the forest service office will be present to explain the proposed plan. Also, explanation will be given of the rules and regulations to be in effect regarding the use of the national forest for recreational purposes during the summer. The proposed plan of the forest service for the sportsmen will give everyone an opportunity to take a part In the preserva tion of our forests and it Is hoped that a large turn-out will be present at the meeting. Election of directors will be held and the making of plans for cooperating with the Oregon Wildlife federation In its sup port on "The Coastal Streams Bill," which was passed during the last session of the legisla ture and which is being referred to the people by the commercial fishing interests.
