Donlevy plays the title role, that of a sleek Jewel thief and a rounder with the ladies. Miss Hopkins plays a difficult role, that cf a mother who prefers a life of excitement to that of one with her daughter. Foster, as the detective, does more than track down criminals, sometimes he helps them out, in a most unusual way. The background for the mys tery drama includes Sing Sing on the Hudson, Europe, South America and gay night life in New York City. The three take one of the most exciting world thief hunts that has ever been filmed. Others In the cast are Gloria Holden, Harold Huber, Philip Reed and Douglass Dumbrille.
