Washington, April 31 (IP) The American Federation of Labor assailed today as "a con glomeration of vicious anti-labor legislation" bills pend lng before the house Judiciary committee to subject labor un ions to prosecution under the anti-trust laws and the 1934 anti-racketeering act. Joseph A. Padway, Washing ton, general counsel of the AFL, voiced his group's opposition to all three bills the committee is considering. Introduced by Rep resentatives Hobbs (D-, Ala.) Monroney (D., Okla.) and Walter (D Pa.), the three measures generally seek to accomplish the same end. Sidesteps Charges In prepared statements which he read to the committee, Pad- way made no reference to charges made last week by organized farmers that labor was seeking to obtain control over the nation's food supplies through unionization of farmers and farm workers. " t' he committee some legislation sought to destroy all of the right that labor has achieved over the years. "Seldom has a more destruc tive piece of anti-labor legisla tion been proposed" than the Walter bill, ha added. The Monroney bill he de scribed as "an obvious attempt" to counteract rulings of the supreme court.
