Blood, RN of 835 Esit Ninth street, has taken over the registry for graduate nurses In this city, it was an nounced today by Miss Joan Stoehr. president of District No. 4, Graduate Nurses. For many years the registry was handled by the late Mrs. O. E. Osborne, RN, of 512 South Oakdale ave nue, the first graduate nurse in the state. The registry for registered nurses is one of two in the state, the other being located in Portland. Not only can it be used by the nurses but it Is of service to the doctors on a Z hour basis. High School Newt by STUDENT REPORTERS By Tbelma Kaploa To celebrate Pan-America week, the high school Spanish club. La Tertulia, Is holding a party this evening In room 10 at 7:30 o'clock. The program will Include a poem In Spanish by Ray Bilderback, a short talk by Joyce Utz, and a Spanish dance. "Cucaracha," by Virginia Shanahan and Muriel Piatt. Games dealing with Latin and South America have been ar ranged under the management of Doris Robinson and Marnelle Bevens. Virginia Shanahan Is In charge of refreshments. Plans for a dance to be held next Friday evening were dis cussed at a sophomore class meeting last Monday morning.
