Marjorle Main, who appeared with Berry in "Barnacle Bill" and "Wyoming, adds humor as the proprietress of a soldier beanery and Wally's "own true love." The action is strictly eu thentic, filmed on maneuvers at Fort Lewis, Wash., and Fort Knox, Ky. Thousands of tanks, dive bombers, soldiers running, riding, crawling for cover, all add to the excitement. The picture presents Berry as a veteran cavalry sergeant thoroughly disgusted when horses are abandoned in favor of tanks. His objections amount to insubordination when a tank runs wild in flames, crashing through a stable to mortally In jure his faithful horse. Although his colonel tries to pacify him, the sergeant balks until he is given a court's martial dis charge. From that point on, what with saboteurs, spies and what have you, the picture rushes to a climactic ending replete with thrills. Lewis Stone is the colonel while George Bancroft, iwnna Reeds, William Lundigan, Henry O'Neill, Chill Wills and Guinn "Big Boy" Williams are also featured. Rialto Opening 4-H For Victory Week With Special Show The Initial feature of Jack son county's "4-H for Victory Week" will be celebrated to morrow night at the Rialto theatre with a gala "4-H Victory Revue" on the stage at 9:00 in connection with the showing of Jane withers' "Young Amer ica," which opens a three day run today at the popular Main street theatre. Twenty-one young 4-H club members will be presented on the stage in person in what is expected to be the gayest and most exciting stage attraction to play at the Rialto in many a day. A 4-H style show will be the main feature of the revue with a girl and dress from eight different Jackson County 4-H districts. Each of the 4-H's six separate branches of, strength will be represented in cluding: e a n n i n g, cooking, clothing, livestock, poultry and gardening. The entire theme of the revue will be to show what "young A m e r 1 c a" through their 4-H clubs are doing for their share toward Victory. The gala event will be a part of Jackson county's con tribution to the national "Mob ilization of 4-H Forces for Vic tory Week" being celebrated all over the United States from to day til the llth. The showing of "Young America" at the Rialto is the official "opening event" of the local program. The picture "Young America," tells entertainingly a story of 4-H and what they are doing. Others m the cast are Jane Dar well, Lynne Roberts, William Tracy and Ben Carter. The following young people will be in the revue: Hazel Saltmarsh and Joan Denny from Oak Grove, Pat von der Hellen from Antelope, Margaret Ricks, Mercedes Swing and Sydney Nelson from Howard, Rosella Offenbacker and Evelyn Byrne from Upper Applegate, Janet Charley from Lake Creek, Betty Lou Reich and Bob Barbee from Oak Grove, Marie Milkouski from Sams Valley, Norman Smith from Willow Springs, . Bob Lewis from Fern Valley ' and Ernest Hamilton and Ernest Smith from Table Rock. In "Ride 'em Cow will also be included in the show. Others in that group are Margy Heckert, Dolly ' Glover and Marita Furry. L. E. Fran cis, local Jackson County 4-H club agent, who has arranged the program with the Rialto theatre, will act as master of ceremonies and the organ at the Rialto theatre will be played by Sebastian Apollo.
