An entertaining Crater as sembly was presented last Wed nesday by a group of students Under direction of Dan Graham, who also acted as master of ear a m o n 1 a s. An outstanding feature of the program was two vocal solos by Louise Lswrenti. accompanied at the piano by Roger Wolf. Students taking part Included Ralph Burgess, Arnold Johnson, Roger We:;, Dan Bowers, Louise Lawrentz, Jerry McDougall, Harry Van Jr Mark, John Quackenbush, Jimmy Morrow, Pat Ballan tyne, and Jim Tucker. Principal Leonard Mayfleld explained yesterday at a gen eral high school student body meeting, the different types of Ir raid alarms and what stu dents were to do In case of actual raids. After the two types of alarm s evacuation nd refuge were demonstrated, the students had practice drills from the auditorium and the coys' gym. This afternoon prac tice drills from classrooms were scheduled, so that students would have additional practical experience. At a girls' league meeting yesterday. President Jeanne Smith announced that girls' league week will be fro.n April to April 10 this year and she also outlined the various activi ties to take place during the week. Later, ballots were pass ed out for the girls to vote on the type of dsnce they wanted at the end of girls' league week. This dance Is the climax to all tha affairs of the week. Miss Joe Kirtley, vice prlncl pal, announced that more than 40 students were on the honor roll for this past six weeks' period. The Junior class had tha largest representation, with 18; sophomore class was next with 13; and the seniors follow d with 11. The mid term soph omore class had two members en the roll. The "Idlings of the King." a burlesque of Alfred Tennvson's "Idyles of the King." will be presented Monday morning In the auditorium by members of tha drama club, under direction of club adviser, Mrs. J.
