N. R. Powley, president of the
company, said:

ency. We count it not only a real
privilege, but also an honor to
be of service to our government
in acting as Its issuing agent for
the United States defense sav
ings bonds. Further, this ar
rangement we are placing in
effect and the same Is true of
all large employers who become
an Issuing agent will lighten
the load on the Federal Reserve
Banks and other selling agents
who have been swamped with
orders.
