Miss Wil cox and Miss Wilkinson are students at Marylhurst college at Portland. From Willamette university at Salem is Jean Wing, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wing, of the Old Stage road: Lester Wilcox, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wilcox, student at Multnomah School of the Bible. Portland, is expected home. Ar riving Christmas eve will be Bob Newland, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Newland, student at University of Oregon and mem ber of the Ducks basketball team, which has been touring the east. Del Chapman, student at Oregon State college, is vis iting his parents at Gold Hill. Bud Baker, also an Oregon State student, visited a short time at the L. G. Pickell home en route to Wilderville, Ore., where he will spend the Christ mas holidays. Jean Pease, student at Dor othy D u n h a m's Secretarial school in San Francisco, is vis iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pease. Fred plays forward on the Junior college basketball team which has been touring California and Colorado. The team has won all the games thus far, having played at Grand Junction, Colo.. Visalia, Bakersfield and Fresno. Cal. Koehler -Palmer Wedding Read In Bay City In the presence of relatives and friends Miss Barbara Lee Koehler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Koehler and Robert Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Palmer, all of this city were married Tuesday evening in Trinity Episcopal church, San Francisco. The Reverend Dr. Brookman of Trinity church read the marriage rites. The bride was given In mar riage by her father. She was attended by her cousin. Miss Margaret Dow, of San Francisco. Daryl Palmer of this city, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Relatives from Medford who motored south for the ceremony and the reception which fol lowed were Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Pal mer and Mr. and Mrs. Koehler. The couple will make their home in San Francisco where Mr. Palmer, a yeoman In the United States navy is stationed at present. Mrs. Palmer is em ployed in the office of Investors' Syndicate, San Francisco. Visitor At Wing Home Dr. Mary Strlckler of Long Beach, Cal., arrived here yester day for a visit at the home of her son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wing Old Stage road. Mrs. Morns attended St. Hel ei 's Hall and later the Univer sity of Oregon She has been assisting her father in his busi ness office in Reedsport. Mr. Morris graduated from Medford High school and later Southern Oregon College of Education. For the past three years he has been employed as teacher at Gardiner and at present is prin cipal of the grade schools in Gardiner where they are mak ing their home. Mr. Morris is in charge of the first aid work in that district and is also teach ing first aid classes. Adarel Chapter Honors Past Matrons, Patrons Adarel chapter, No. 3, O.E.S of Jacksonville honored past matrons and patrons at their meeting Thursday evening. Mrs. Fay Peters, worthy matron and Grant Todd, worthy patron, were congratulated on their success ful year as heads of the chapter. At the close of the meeting, Mrs. Mabel Todd, acting as mar shal and Mrs. Dorothy Waldron as conductress, escorted and in troduced the past matrons and patrons. Methodist Choir To Be Entertained Members of the choir of the First Methodist church will be ntertalned at the home nf Mr. and Mrs. Archie Pierce, Pierce heights this evening at the in clusion of the Christmas pro gram at the church. St. Mark's Choir Entertained At John Day Home Members of the choir of St. Mark's Episcopal church were entertained Thursday evening at a Christmas party at the home of Mrs. John Day on Groveland avenue. Preceding the party the choir, under the direction of Roberta Ward Bebb, rehearsed music to be presented at St. Mark's church on Christmas Eve. Later refreshments were served with Mrs. R. W. The club was organized pri marily to assist new residents of Medford to become better acquainted. This function of the organization may take on new Importance In the transfer of new residents due to war emergencies. Plans have been made to continue the introduc- tion of prospective members at each meeting as In the past. Club members and officers urge any person in Medford who has not been a resident of the city over two years to come to the meetings which are held wice monthly in the Hotel Medford. New residents who wish to join the organization are asked to watch for the announcement of the January meeting. Starting the new work in January several portable sewing machines will be at the disposal of members taking part in the new project and it is hoped that a full membership will be pres ent at each meeting to partici pate In the work. MaryWellsT Harley Williams To Be Married Miss Mary Wells of this city left the latter part of the week for Ocean Park, Cal., where she will become the bride of Harley Earl Williams this week. Miss Wells has been employed as stenographer in the office of Rogue River National forest since July of this year. Miss Wells is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wells of Helena, Mont., where she was employed prior to taking up re sidence in this city. Mr. Wil liams is employed at Douglas Aircraft and the couple will make their home at 418 Ray mond street. Ocean Park, Cal. Mrs. Wells has been visiting her daughter in this city for sev eral weeks and returned to her home in Helena upon her daugh ter's departure for California. Couple Wed At Dawes Homt In Quiet Rites Mary Ann Bradford and James Patrick Ward, both of this city, were quietly married yesterday afternoon at the Rev. W. A. Dawes' residence, 42 Rose avenue at 2 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Franklin, intimate friends of the couple, were their attendants. The cere mony was read by the Rev.
