last week. Election of officers
and a Christmas party comprised
the entertainment.
Mayme Seiler was elected pre-
sident with Brica Cadwallader
as secretary-treasurer. Follow
ing a short business meeting
gifts were exchanged and games
played. Later refreshments
were served by the hostess.
Katherine Smith was in charge
of the meeting.

"The Story of Christmas In
Many Lands" was presented by
a group of pupils of Mrs. Ora
Readings' room at the Decem
ber meeting of Lincoln school
Parent-Teacher association Fri
day at 2:30 p. m. with 40 at
tending. The children wore colorful
costumes and told of Christmas
customs in their native coun
tries. A group of songs, "Away
in a Manger" and "Jolly Santa
Claus" were Included in the
program.
The meeting opened with a
salute to the flag followed by
singing of "America" in which
the children asked their parents
and teachers to join them.
Refreshments were served at
labia decorated with cedar
garlands and lighted red candles.
Mrs. Alice Webb was in charge
of the decoration and mothers
of her students were hostesses
to the group.
