PUBLIC ASSISTING If) CLOTHING LIST Splendid cooperation has been received from the public thus far in making Inventories of clothing and bedding that would be available in an emergency, it was stated today by Adjutant Charles K. Cox, chairman of this work for the Jackson Coun ty Council of Defense. The clothing and bed covers are not wanted now, however, Adjutant Cox emphasized again in response to many inquiries he has received. All that is need ed now is list of what would be available in time of need, he pointed out. For the time being the defense council merely wants a list giv ing this information: Name, ad dress and telephone number of the person who has spare cloth ing and bedding; description of the clothing and bedding; nota tion of the size of clothing and shoes; specification as to wheth er the clothing is for men, wom en or children. This information should be written out simply and legibly and mailed to Adjutant Cox at the Salvation Army, P. O. Box 467, Medford, the adjutant said. Committee members today started the work of dividing Medford and the rest of the county into districts to facilitate organizational procedure in case of emergency, Adjutant Cox said.
