Gladys Dooms was elected
commander of. the Navy Mothers
club for the coming year at a
meeting held Wednesday at the
home of Zora Turpin. Installa
tion will be held the first meet
ing in January.

planned for the next meeting,

North Central avenue. A small
gift to exchange is to be brought
by those attending.

Christmas Party
'American Legion auxiliary
members will entertain the Le
gion post with a Christmas
m party Wednesday at the regular
meeting of both organizations
at 8 p. m. at the armory club
rooms.
Each member of the post and
auxiliary is asked to bring an
inexpensive gift to place under
the tree. The committee in
charge of the program and re
freshments are Grace Holmes,
Margaret Ingling and Lucille
Scheffel. All members of the
post and auxiliary are urged to
be present.
College Club Plans
Christmas Meeting
Christmastide observance is
the theme of the meeting of the
Rogue Valley College Women's
club which will be held Satur
day at 2:30 p. m. at the First
Presbyterian church. Guests are
invited. The program is in
charge of Mrs. H. G. Van Val
zah and Mrs. R. C. Joy.
