Bedspreads
Beautiful styling and exquis

ments In styling is the use of un
cut chenille combined with regu
lar tufting.

Landing Beam
Sought For Ports
Portland, Ore., Nov. 26. W)
The federal government has
recommended that the Portland
Columbia airport be equipped
for instrument landings during
fog, W. A. Cuttings disclosed
yesterday.
A similar recommendation has
been made for the Everett, Wn.,
airport, the federal airway com
munication aide said.
The equipment, used only ex
perimentally to date, provides
a descending radio beam on
which pilots can glide to landings.
Congress is considering a bill
to authorize a sailor's medal for
distinguished service "not In
volving actual conflict."
