Ga., Imperial potentate of the Ancient Accepted Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, left by train Wednesday night after paying an official visitation to Hillah Temple and being guest of honor at a number of func tions In southern Oregon. A highlight of his visit was a trip Wednesday to Crater Lake national park where a park service representative took him and his host party of Call fornia and Oregon Shrines on a tour of the park, dazzling un der its light blanket of snow. Later. Mr. Law was honor guest at a cocktail and dinner party in Hotel M e d f o r d. Shriners were present from the San Francisco bay and Sacra mento districts of California as well as distant parts of Oregon. Guests from Portland Included William J. Hofman, past poten tate of Al Kader Temple and a trustee of the Shrine Hos pital for Crippled Children, and Luther A. Duckworth, recorder of Al Kader Temple. In honor of Mr. Law's offic ial visitation, a fall ceremonial was staged Tuesday evening by Hillah Temple in its home city of Ashland. The ceremonial was held in the Ashland armory and other phases of the reception . were held in the banquet hali of the Elks temple. Various side events in honor of the visiting Imperial potentate were held throughout the day and evening. SI The federal trade commission got out a complaint this week charging two Oregon corpora tions with misrepresentation and false advertising. The complaint named the Atmoray, Inc., Portland, sales company, and Atmozone. Inc., Oregon City, manufacturer of an ozone generator. SATURDAY Luclnda Sheets, who passed away near Eagle Point early Thursday was born at Goshen, Ind., June 13, 1884. She came to Jackson county when a small child and was a daughter of David and Elmira Whetstone. She was married to William H. Pullen at Jacksonville In 1883 and three children were born to this union, Jesse Pullen of Bandon, Ore.; Thos. Pullen of Eagle Point and Eva L. Zim dars of Parma. Idaho. Mr. Pul len passed away in 1918. In 1922 she was married to W. H. Sheets who passed away la 1928. Besides her three children, she leaves two sisters and one brother, Alice Murphy of Wil liams, Ore.; Lavina Walters, Medford and Francis Whetstone of Central Point Funeral services will be held at the Conger chapel at 2 p. m. Saturday with Rev. Ernest J. Wine of Ashland officiating. In terment will be In the Central Point cemetery. Douglas county; Dave and M. F. Pence of Trail and Mrs. Amos McKee of Ruch. Also 13 grand children and one great grand child. Funeral services' will be held at the Conger chapel at S p. m. Saturday with Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Geary, 74, pioneer resident of Jackson county, coming here at the age of 10 years, passed away at Kennett, Cal., November 18. She had been there only two weeks with her children. Mrs. Gery was born In Illin ois. After coming to Oregon with her parents, she was mar ried to Ben Geary who passed away many years ago. Surviving are six children, Ben and Sam Geary of Trail: D. P.
