Time Changed Intermediate department of the Methodist Sunday school will meet at Wesley chapel for its skating party at 3 p. m. tomorrow in stead of 3:30 as originally an nounced. Minor Accident Dave Todd St Route 2 and J. E. Redman f 420 Western avenue drove cars involved in a slight mishap at Sixth and Main streets yes terday afternoon, a report on file said today. Rosen- baum, district freight and pas senger agent for the Southern Pacific company in Medford, left last night by train for Port land where he planned to spend Thanksgiving with friends. Visits Parents Robert Fow ler, with the AAA soil conser vation service at Corvallis ar rived home by motorcar last evening to spend the Thanks giving holidays with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Fowler, Kings nighway. Visit Parents Mr. and Mrs. OH. R. Meyling and son Tommy hi Stockton, Cal., are visiting at the home of Mrs Meyling's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Foster, 115 Clark street. The Meylings plan to return south Sunday by motorcar. - e Oyster Dinenr Regular and volunteer firemen enjoyed a tried oyster dinner at fire department headquarters last night. The dinner was prepared by Chif Roy E'liott and Claude Stevens. The oysters were pre sented to the fire department as a gift from Holly's Sea Food Market. Henne, Medford manager of United Air Lines, was to leave by United Mainliner this afternoon for Oakland, Cal., where he was to spend a couple of days at his home. He will also spend a week at the company's office in San Francisco before return ing to Medford. Roof Fire Fire this morning burned part of the roof of the residence of William B. Cook, 338 Chestnut avenue. The blaze started around a stove pipe where It entered the chimney and Chief Roy Elliott reported that the pipe was too short and did not extend far enough into the chimney to be safe. Fire men answered a ward alarm at 7.57 a. m. Confer George I. Noyes, San Francisco, regional appraiser of the Hume Owners Loan corpo ration, and Frank Eivers, Port land, Oregon state appraiser, conferred yesterday with Carl Y. Tengwald, 125 West Main street, on final reports on the appraisal of land required for the proposed Beagle-Antelope army cantonment. Mr. Eivers was in charge of the HOLC cantonment land appraisal of fice here toward the end of the work, replacing Herman Kalvog who organized the work here. Mr. Tengwald was on the ap praisal staff. Mr. Noyes and Mr. Eivers were en route by car from San Francisco to Port land. Mr. Noyes was accom panied by his wife. Plane Passengers Early morn ing United Mainliner was de layed today at Oakland, Cal., because of unfavorable weather conditions at Portland. Leaving for Sacramento by Mainliner last midnight were T. Brown and Dr. N. Hale. Last night's northbound plane, held at Med ford because of fog at Portland and Seattle, left at 9 a. m. today. Arriving on the plane were M. Jones, from Oakland, and H. Hart, from San Francisco. Leav ing were W. Whidden and Mr. and Mrs. R. Byrd, to Portland, and G. Truesdell, to Seattle. D. Richardson arrived from Portland early last night. Miss B Sheldon arrived last evening from Portland. Leaving for San Francisco were L. Beckely and Miss E. Joyce. Departing for Fortlard yesterday afternoon were Mrs. F. Neil, Miss F. Neil and L.
