Court Citation Clarence T. Burke, 38. of Phoenix was cited by state police yesterday to ap pear in justice of the peace court at 10 a. m. Saturday charged with driving a truck without a horn. Minor Accident Roy L. Young of 104 East Second street and Robert Dickerson of Central Point drove cars Involved in a minor accident at McAndrews road and North Central avenue yesterday afternoon, a report .on file said today. Vacation Ends Mr. and Mrs. Orville L. Hoselton, 27 New town street, returned home Sunday from a two weeks' vacation spent at the Oregon Caves, Crater Lake national park and Seaside. Mr. Hosel ton is assistant manager of the Mediord Montgomery Ward store. Transferred Samuel J. Hutch erson, company commander at Minersville, Calif., who returned . south with CCC casuals last month, has been transferred to district "D," Anniston, Ala. Fanazlck stopped at Medford municipal airport this morning to have his North American observation plane refueled. He was en route from Portland to the Sacramento air depot, Sac ramento, Cal. Honor Roll Philip Lowry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lowry, Bear Creek orchards, was listed on the honor roll at the Uni versity of Oregon for spring term. Lowry, a first year law student, made a grade point average of 4.00, highest scho lastic rating possible on the Oregon campus. New Residence H. U. Mitchell applied at the city building in spector's office yesterday for a permit to construct a new resi dence and private garage at 534 Franquette street at a stated cost of $3,000. It was the eleventh permit of the month calling for the erection of a new dwelling. Angler Fined Harold W. Weyant of Reno, Nev., was fined $25 and $4.50 costs in justice of the peace court this morning on a state police charge of angling during prohibited hours. He was arrested while angling on Rogue river last night police said. Plane Passengers D. M. Pratt left for Seattle, Wash., this noon by United Mainliner. Arriving from Portland on the forenoon plane were Bill O'Connell, T. J. Manning and L. R. Centro. Leaving on the same plane were P. Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lovejoy, to Los Angeles, M. G. Spaich, to Oakland, Cal., and Mrs. Ralph Norris, to San Francisco. Frank Van Dyke left for Seattle on the early morn ing plane. S. P. Buell arrived from Portland last midnight. Departing were R. The loan was authorized by the Reconstruction Finance cor poration with the approval of President Roosevelt and at the request of Jesse Jones, federal loan administrator, the agency said in a statement. The deal was arranged, the statement explained, "for 'the purpose of providing the British with dollar exchange without having to sell their securities and investments at forced sale."
