The "shark woman" frees her
lover from the coils of a deadly
python in the sensational real
life nature adventure film, "The
Shark Woman", which opens a
three day run tomorrow at the
Rialto theatre. Actually filmed
in the Indian ocean and totally
unlike any other adventure film
ever brought to the screen, 'The
Shark Woman" tells a story of
native lore as lived on one of
the many shark-infested islands
in the Indian ocean. The scenes
filmed in this picture make the
efforts of both the late Martin
Johnson and Frank Buck look
like sissies at a tea party.
There will be no raise in
prices and the added feature
will be "Pirates on Horseback",
starring William Boyd as Hop-
along Cassidy.
Sacramento, Cal. (U.R) This
city claims the distinction of be
ing the first city under 500,000
to have a newsreel theatre. In
terest in war activities was said
to justify the investment.
