Calif., June 19. The duchess died tomorrow. Barring improbable last min ute reprieve, Evelita Juanita Spinelli, 52, mistress of a hood lum gang, will die In the gas chamber at San Quentin prison first woman to be executed legally in the state of California. They have lived at Wimer since 1919, where she is well known and leaves a host of friends. She Is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lena Martin, of King Cole, on the Greensprlngs; Mrs. Joe Zaxh of Medford and Mrs. Nettie Rifenberg, of Corn ing, Calif., one son, Ray Crump of Klamath Falls, one sister, Mrs. Nettie Lange, Jacksonville; two brothers, Clyde Fields, of Beagle, and Harry Fields, of Redding, Calif., 16 grandchild ren and 6 greBt grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Perl funeral home Fri day at 1:30 p. m.. Rev. Fish of Grants Pass, officiating. Inter ment will take place at Sterling cemetery.
