held last night at the temple
with Myron Hunt, architect for
the proposed army cantonment,
as the guest speaker. Frank
DeSouza, a past exalted ruler,
acted as chairman.
"You have here the friend
liest town I have ever known,"
said Mr. Hunt, "and I often
wonder If your people realize

I was born now has a popula
tion 50 percent Polish. In Los

board of U. S. army officers on
camp site selection.
Mr. Merriam was invited by
the constructing quartermaster
corps, to express the communi
ty s viewpoint at thia meetine-
where decision will be made as
to which of the six nrnmasd
sites in this area is most suitable
for the proposed army camp.
