Annual fire guard training
camp for Rogue River National
forest will be held at Carberry
Wednesday. Thursday and Fri
day. Fifty-three fire guards will
attend.
The first morning wilt be de
voted to general assembly dis
cussion of forest policies and
tests in first aid. For the re
mainder of the school, the men
will study the fire-finder, fire
chasing, fire suppression, map
reading and compass and pacing.
, Experienced guards will be
given training in the supervision
of CCC crews, fire behavior and
; duties of fire foremen.

will conduct the school. Rangers
and protective assistants will be
