lishing business. Mr. Jenkins

Corbln. a senior leader of com
pany 6409. Camp McKinley, was
today appointed a subaltern in
the CCC, Medford district head
quarters announced. Corbin is
a graduate of the second district
subalterns' school held here in
March.
To Lake George T. Hopper,
engineer of Crater lake national
park, today joined other head
quarters staff members who
have gone to the lake to estab
lish their summer offices. He
was accompanied by Mrs. Hop
per. The Hoppers have resided
here during the winter. Moving
of staff headquarters from the
Medford Federal building to the
lake for the summer period will
be completed Saturday.
Visit Parents William H.
Walker, son of Mrs. W. W. Wal
ker, 842 East Main street, left
this morning for Bakersfield,
Cal., and Harvey D. Field, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey J. Field,
24 Crater Lake avenue, plans
to leave tonight by plane for
Bakersfield where they will take
their basic training in flving.
They completed their prelimin
ary training In the Flying Cadets
at Oxnard, Cal., May 28 and ac
companied Mr. and Mrs. Field
and Mrs. Walker home from San
Francisco where their parents
spent the week-end. During
their short stay in Medford. they
enjoyed fishing trips and visited
with friends.
