R. Marshall of 1130 West 10th street left by train yester day afternoon to spend several days at the exposition in San Francisco. They planned to re turn home Friday. Fined $25 Jessie Dewey Tresham. 43, of Gold Hill was fined S25 in city court Satur day morning on a charge of reckless driving. Arresting city policemen said Tresham was driving on the wrong side of Riverside avenue. To Exposition Joseph W Seobey, publicity officer of the Medford CCC district. Mrs. Seo bey and E. H. Halliwell, corrv pany commander at Camp Steamboat, planned to leave by motorcar today for San Fran cisco for a week's vacation. They will take in the Gold Gate in ternational exposition. Ludwig. son of Mr- and Mrs. Carl Lud wig, is on the destroyer Tracy and Hober is on the destroyer Salt Lake City. Both ships are at present in Pearl Harbor, Hon To Get Trucks Four Rogue River national forest men will leave here Monday in four old CCC trucks for Portland where the vehicles will be exchanged for new ones. The men will return with the new trucks Tuesday or Wednesday. The vehicles will be divided between the Applegate and South Fork CCC camps. The drive will be in charge of L. L. Simpson, for est road chief. The other three men are James Clark, Sylvester Stevens and Frank Wright. At Airport Arrivals at Med ford municipal airport Friday included Col. J. D. Heardan, on an annual tour of inspection of army air corps facilities here. traveling in a North American basic trainer piloted by Lieut J- T. Cox, Seattle to Oakland Cal.; Maj. E. V. Harbeck, on an annual technical inspection of the army air corps here, en route from Sacramento, Cal., to Vancouver, Wash., in a North- rup attack plane: Capt. M. R. Towman and Maj. E. J. House. Machines operated by John Grantham of 318 Beatty street and Gordon S. Stout of 28 Quince street were involved in a slight accident at Fourth and Fir streets Friday afternoon, according to a report on file yesterday- To Conference Latest Insur ance information will be dis seminated to representatives of the Metropolitan Life Insurance company at a state conference in Gearhart Tuesday, it was stated yesterday by A. Condition Good Her attend ing physician said yesterday that the condition of Betty Stevens, 6, confined in Community hos pital with a fractured skull, was "very satisfactory," and that she was conscious at all times. The little girl was struck by an auto mobile on North Riverside ave nue Thursday evening. Police said the car was driven by Ches ter P. Toler of Grants Pass, who was not held after the accident.
