Condition "Good" Commun ity hospital said today that the condition of Douglas B. Finch was 'good " Mr. Finch was badly Injured Tuesday morning when a horse he was riding fell into a deep mining pit near the Hutton guard station in the Ap plegate district of the Rogue River national forest. A forest fire guard, Mr. Finch was lead ing a string of mules when a dog frightened the animals. Shirley Temple In Rollicking Picture On Craterian Bill Chock full of fun. songs and I dances, "Young People." which siars sniney Temple, Jack Oakie and Charlotte Green wood, gave audiences at the Craterian theatre a rollicking good time last night. "Young People" is Shirley Temple's twenty-second picture and it is her happiest hit. In it Shirley sings five grand tunes written by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren: "Fifth Avenue," "Tra-la-Ia-la," "I Wouldn't Take a Million," "The Mason-Dixon Line" and "Young People." The story pattern concerns two small-time vaudeville enter tainers, Oakie and Greenwood, who adopt Shirley. She grows up with them on the stages but they decide the stage is not the place to raise children, to they retire to a small New Eng land farm. The denouement comes when Shirley, in an attempt to put over a sophisticated revue at the annual sohool performance, is booed off the stage by the shocked and indignant parents. The supporting program of short subjects has a new Walt Disiey technicolor cartoon, "Put Put Troubles, featuring Don ald Duck and Pluto; also a Grantland Rice Sportlight, a colored science reel.
