Summer at Park
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Henderson
and daughter, Lela. left last
week for Glacier National park
to spend the summer.
Mr. Henderson is associated
with the National park service.
D. S. Libby, formerly connected
with Crater Lake National park,
is now superintendent of Glac
ier. Mr. Henderson has spent
many summers in the park serv
ice at Crater Lake. He plans to
, -return at the conclusion of the
park season to resume his teach
ing position with the Medford
school system.

group of Medfordites.

Patricia Wilkinson, Tony Steph
enson and Mary Shreve who
was recently named "Queen
Elizabeth" of the Shakespeare
Festival association. Others
were Louis Thurman, Chris
Barker and Larry Schade, Jr.

Medford this morning by train
to spend the summer visiting
their mother, Mrs. T. Slater
Johnston at the Johnston river
home.
The children have been at

evening for the recently wedded
couple. Guests were Mr. and
Mrs. Ray Eivert, Fred Menary
and the Bryans. The group left
later for Klamath Falls.
The recent bride Is a daughter
of the Lawrences. The couple
were married in a pretty home
wedding several weeks ago In
this city.
Trio Return
From Mexico
The Misses Enid Funk and
Helen Parish returned yesterday
afternoon from a three weeks'
motorcar vacation. They were
accompanied by Miss Amy Erick
son of Klamath Falls.
The trio's main destination
was Mexico, in which country
they visited manv flntprpctinc

cated 50 miles below Mexico
t-ity; Pueblo, Cuernavaca and
Mexico City where they spent

George Frances Barron, son of
Mrs. Homer Barron of Ashland,
will be interested to know of
his recent marriage In Oxford.
Ohio, to Miss Mary Frances
Schaeuble, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. S. Schaeuble. The bride
groom's mother was among the
wedding guests.

elated with the fine arts depart
ment of Miami University at Ox
ford for a number of years, as
music instructor, and will con
tinue his work there. He was
graduated from the Ashland
schools and the University of
Oregon. He continued his mu
sical study abroad.

Miss Fick. a teacher In the
Klamath Falls high school, is

scheduled for Thursday, July 4,
has been cancelled because of
the Fourth of July.
