Car Fire Attributed to a
short circuit, fire damaged the
wiring of a car owned by How
ard Wilson of Central Point
this noon. Mr. Wilson was driv
ing along when he discovered
the blaze under the hood of the
car at Riverside avenue and
Main street. The fire depart
ment'! chemical crew was call
ed but before the firemen ar
rived the blaze had been put
out with chemical! procured at
the nearby Hubbard Brothers
hardware store.

1940. He is 17 years old. The

PERRY REGAN FINED
ON TRAFFIC COUNTS
Perry D. Regan, charged in
two complaints with driving an
auto with no license plates, and
with permitting a minor to op
erate an auto, was fined $2.50
and costs on each count in jus
tice court yesterday.
Yvonne Fogg, charged with
being intoxicated in a public
place, was sentenced to 15 days
in the county Jail, more for re
cuperation than punishment, the
court advised her upon imposi
tion of sentence.
