ALASKA SEEKS BATHING SUIT FIRST SEATTLE ARRIVAL COURT HOUSE NEWS Seattle, June 14 i.T) Miss Minnie Motschman, 21, pretty Eskimo graduate of the Univer sity of Alaska, at Fairbanks, arrived today as "Miss Alaska," queen of the Fairbanks ice car nival, en route to Washington, D. C, as a guest of the United States Junior Chamber of Com merce. Her companion, "Miss Nome," who is Miss Margaret Scott, daughter of Tolbert Scott, mining man, also will accom pany her to the New York world's fair. It was "Miss Alaska's" first trip to the United States, and her reaction to her first sight of a street car was "My, it's a noisy city, isn't it?" Miss Motschman's ambition is to be a dress designer; she worked her way through school as a department store salesgirl. Her first venture here was to shop for a bathing suit. "A "queen" has to have one, doesn't she?" she asked. Marriage License William E. Holmes and Ger trude A. Parker. Robert Higgins and Esther Naoma Huffman. Robert B. Wilson and Wan da Konkel. C.
