N. Moty of Klamath rails, at her home on Park street last week, at which time the couple's mar riage date was announced for June 23. Guests enjoying the affair were Mesdames Jens Jensen. Earl York, Don Dutton, Frank Beers, Harry Beasley, John Wil kinson, and the Misses Jerry Wilkinson, Jeanette McKee, La Verne Stephenson, Everetta Gil lespie. Ruth Hill, Patricia Thompson, Helen McDonald. Polly Llndley, Maureen Carlton and Jane Russell. Cards were played during the evening with prizes being won by Mrs. Beers, Miss Wilkinson. Miss Gillespie, Miss McDonald and Miss Llndley. The wedding date was an nounced In clever fashion by a calendar crossword puzzle. Scene of the ceremony In June will be the Sacred Heart Catholic church in this city. The popular young Medford miss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Jensen, received her early schooling at St. Mary's academy In this city. Later she attended Marylhurst college In Oswego. Mr. Moty, who resided In Medford until moving to Klam ath Falls about five years ago, attended the University of Portland. Peteraona Hosta At Recent Party Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson were hosts for a recent delight ful birthday party at their home on Capital avenue, honoring Mrs. Oscar Peterson of 511 Bessie street. The honoree re ceived many lovely gifts. Other birthdays observed at the event were those of Mary Vincent and Alfa Peterson. Games and refreshments were enjoyed during the affair. Rease Braley was the scene of a tea Wednesday afternoon, honoring members of the senior class of the Medford high school. Host esses were members of the Med ford chapter of th American Association of University Wom en who entertain annually with such an affair. In the receiving line were Miss Sue Mqshberger. Miss Vera Humphrey, Mrs. Braley, Miss Gertrude Butler and Mrs. Rob ert Shepherd. Assisting about the rooms were several mem bers of the junior high school class and Miss Esther Wilcox, Mrs. Aletha Vawter and Mrs. Walter E. Flinn. Presiding alternately at the tea table were Mrs. Don R. Newbury, Mrs. Allen Smith. Miss Catherine Campbell, Mrs. Leonard Mayfield. Miss Alice Spurgin and Mrs. Silas King. Beautiful floral arrangements were about the rooms and dec orated the tea table. In charge of the flower arrangements was Mrs. Frank P. Farrell. General chairman of the successful event was Mrs. Glenn L. Jackson. Musical selections were pre sented on the program by Leo Miksche and June Jarmin and members of the junior high school girls' trio, composed of Clara Daniels, June Jarmin, Helen Webb and the school sex tette. Miss Helen Leach was direc tor and Roger Wolf accom panied on the piano. Clever scrolls tied with pick and blue ribbon formed com mencement congratulatory fav ors to the senior guests of honor. The house was charmingly decorated with spring flowers and formed a lovely setting for the perform ing artists. Schubert Puck Grieg Saville Riley, piano Miss Swem, one of the city's talented younger musicians, played with a skill and feeling t.iat might well belong to an older artist. Mrs. Pundt's voice has a depth and richness of tone thtt is most appealing, and her concert manner is charming. Miss Riley plays with a fire and power seldom seen off the con cert stage, and her interpreta tions are sympathetic and sure. The program was enjoyed by the large number of members and their guests present, and at the close of the evening's enter tainment refreshments were served by Mrs. Collins, assisted by Miss Betty Wilfley, Miss Vera Humphrey, Mrs. James A Warde, Mrs. Hans Hoerlein, Mrs. Harold Larsen and Mrs. Vyrl Walker. Miss Humphrey and Mrs. W. E. Tumy, founder of the guild and an honorary life member, presided at the refresh ment table. Campbell Home Scene of Tea The women of the northeast division of the Methodist church were guests at a tea at the home of Mrs. Frances Camp bell on East Main street, Fri day afternoon. Mrs. Helen Pierce sang a group of three songs, accom panied by Mrs. Doris Lantz. Piano solos were played by Harriet Walker. Eleanor Meek er and Joan Luttrell sang duets, accompanied by Mrs. C. A. Meeker. Mrs. Charles P. Johnson pre side at the tea table which was attractively decorated with roses. About 25 guests called during the afternoon.
