He Is en route home from southern California where he spent the holidays and at tended the Rose Bowl game in Pasadena on New Year's day Lodges Install Officers Monday On Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock the Rebeknh and Odd Fellows lodges of Medford win have a Joint installation meet- Ina in the I. O. O. If. nail. W. W. Hittle, district deputy strand master and Installing of ficers of Gold Hill, assisted by Miss Caroline Leaders, district deputy president of Medford, will install the local officers. Following the meeting, re- freshments will be served. All lodge members and their wives and husbands are Invited to at tend the session. t College Women Meet Saturday The Rogue River Valley Col lege Women's club will enjoy its annual luncheon tomorrow at 1 o'clock at the Hotel Medford. The program will have to do with American Art. Mrs. E. E. Gore is the social chairman. Reservations may be made by phoning Miss Vera Humphrey, 1463-M. Musical Society To Meet Monday The Medford Mulel society will convene Monday evening for a regular session at the home of Mrs. E. E. Gore, 116 Geneva street. A business and social time will be in order with an Informal i musical program also being pre-1 sented. I Nile Daughters Meet Saturday Zuleima Temple, Daughters of the Nile, will convene tomorrow in the Masonic Temple in Ashland. Luncheon at the Plaza Cafe in the Lithia city will precede the regular session. A committee will be appointed and plans for mulated for the ceremonial which will be held in this city February 10. Mrs. Lenore Kellom, Zuleima queen, will preside at the meet ing. The local organization Is busy making plans for the visit here of the Supreme Queen, Roxie Mathis of San Antonio, Texas. Two Speakers Address Meet The Girls' Community club was the scene of the regular meeting of the Toastmistress club Wednesday evening. Miss Margo Boyle acted as toast- mistress. Using as their subject, "Wo men and Democracy," the Misses Valeria Whitney and Violet Wood presented various phases associated with the topic.
