November Record Setting an
all-time high for any November
in Its history, United Air Lines
last month recorded a total of
12,100,300 revenue passenger
miles of flying over its net
work, according to figures re
leased today through Max C.

with the new real estate law,
approximately 450 brokers and
salesmen are required to 'sub
mit to examination before ob
taining 1940 licenses. Similar
examinations will be held in
Eugene nt 1:30 Tuesday at the

county judge for six years and
assessor for 14, died here today
after a long illness.
Born in Linn county, he
moved with his parents to this
county in 1867 and joined the
Pioneer Methodist church at
"old Grants Pass," north of
here, before the present city was
founded. He was a member of
the first high school graduating
class of the present city.
His widow and a sister, Mrs.
Gertrude Davis, Fort Collins
Colo., survive. Funeral services
will be held Monday afternoon.
