They expect to re turn to Medford the end of the week. Student Leaves Miss Mary Belottl left yesterday for her home In Klamath Falls after finishing a course at Leonard Beauty college. She has secured a position with the Vanity Beauty shop in Klamath. Unit to Meet Roxy Ann ex tension unit will meet Friday at the home of Mrs. Francis Moffatt on Spring street. Mabe! Mack will conduct a discussion on care of the hair. All women of the community who are inter ested are asked to attend. DeMolny to Meet Modford DeMolay will hold a regular session tonight at 7:30 in the Masonic Temple. Final plans for the district convention, to be held Saturday and Sunday, will be completed. Any person having extra bedroom space to room the delegates attending the confab are asked to call Don Hathaway, or phone 1464 Play Try-Outs All persons Interested are reminded of the try-out3 for four one-act plays to be presented in January, this evening and Thursday evenii'g in room 212 of the Medford Center building. Try-outs have been ca'ued by Angus Bowmr, drama director of the Southern Oregon College of Education. who will direct the plays Mr. Bowmer stated today that ex perlence is not necessary for persons wishing to try out for the plays. Time will oe v:ju Mrs. Myers Back Mrs. Edna Myers of 401 West Second street returned on this morning's bus from Klamath Falls, where she spent several days transacting business for the National Insti tute of Music and Art of Los Angeles. Mrs. Myers reported that Christine (Mickey) Pearson Klamath girl who is well known here, is doing excellent violin work. She also stated that one of the institute pupils, Dorothy Kight. six -year -old youngster of Shasta Way, had been run over by a car and is seriously ill in the Klamath Valley hos pital. Plane Passenrjors Today's southbound United Mainliner, due at Medford airport in the forenoon, did not arrive until mid-afternoon due to having been held over in Seattle be cause of fog. Getting off the Tuesday midnight plane were Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Bennett and C. D. Hudson, all of Se attle. J. F. Dillard was a pas senger getting off the north bound flagstop Tuesday even ing and R. H. Sturgeon stop ped here from last evening's southbound flagstop. F. H Mc intosh got off yesterday after noon's Mainliner, and passen gers getting on were W. J. Sul livan to Portland and E. A. Hewes and W. O. Lowrey to Seattle. Achievement Council The 18th achievement council of cub pack 1, Boy Scouts, will be hem in Jackson grade school audi torium at 7:15 Friday night. Examiner Coming A travel ing examiner cf operators and chauffeurs will be in Medford city hall next Saturday between the hours of 9 a. m. and 5 p. m., and all those wishing per mits or licenses to drive cars are asked to get in touch with the examiner during these hours. Myers Leave Mr. and Mra. Chester L. Ms'ers of 406 King street left last evening by train for Flint, Mich., where they will take possession of a new car to drive back to Medford The Myers went from here to San Francisco where they board ed the streamliner for the east ern city. They expect to b away about ten days. Meet Cancelled The regular meeting of the Chester A. Ar thur Relief Corps scheduled for Thursday afternoon has been cancelled because of the funeral of Mrs. Mary Woods, who died yesterday. Relief corps services will be conducted at Conger funeral parlors instead of the graveside. All corps members are to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 tomorrow afternoon.
