Claud ette Colbert Henry Fonda Score In Technicolor Hit The screen at the Cratcrian theater must be vibrating from all the excitement that flashed across it yesterday the most vivid, action-packed, thrilling film hit of the season. "Drums Along the Mohawk." This pic ture depicts In technicolor the days when torch and tomahawk spread their terror In New Yorks beautiful Mohawk valley, based oh Walter D. Edmonds' best-selling novel. Tha screen play1' gives Clau dette Colbert and Henry Fonda the roles of pioneer lovers who with the other colonists In the valley have to face the fierce onslaught of the savage Iro quois. While a hoart-warming romance is thus assured, the most outstanding feature of "Drums Along the Mohawk" Is its action. The screen has prov ed itself time and again as the best medium for portraying scenes like these, but never has It shown them more powerfully. One is literally frozen to one's seat at the tense realism of the Indian battle sequences, height ened In their effect by the tech nicolor. The story takes place In those days of romance and adventure when America was young. Claudette Colbert, an aristo cratic city-bred girl, marries Henry Fonda, a farmer-colonist of the Mohawk valley, as the film opens. Fonda takes his bride to the rough frontier BRONCHIAL To oulrkly rellev. DISTRESS when a cold effects your upper bronchial tube. REMEMBER It take.
